Al-Jabal Palace
ABOUT
ABOUT
The building’s rigidity, precision, and geometric simplicity were chosen to emulate the form of a mountain, with the entrance designed to resemble a cave.
Circulating around the structure, the stream of water serves as a river that softens the sharpness and bulkiness of the palace. This combination creates a natural balance between stone’s stability and the fluidity of water.
On one side, a miniature waterfall completes an arch, leading to a tropical garden, while on the other side, an L-shaped bench provides a convenient resting spot by the crystal river.
The slabs of stone lay a bridge over the river, while the staircase extends and seamlessly blends into the landscape, connecting the building with the surrounding vegetation.
